Various communication barriers make it difficult or even impossible for many
individuals to ask for help. Police
officers, EMTs, and other emergency
professionals are often placed in the difficult position of having to gather
information from these people.
Our nonverbal communication boards assist professionals and people who
cannot make their
circumstances clear due to that they speak another language or have a medical condition such as autism,
Alzheimer's
syndrome, stroke, traumatic brain injury, unfamiliar or impaired speech, or other difficulties.
These full
color icons are easily understood. Text is in English and Spanish.
The format is used internationally in special education
programs
for most ages and functional levels.

use.
